On The Go
For many families, car rides have become a precious opportunity to come together. We’re blessed to know that many parents use The Saints for these shared times. Kathleen shares, "We listen while commuting every morning. The powerful stories of the saints bring me to tears and keep my kids asking for more." The addition to her routine has turned everyday commutes into meaningful moments of formation for her children. Similarly, Elena reflects on how these stories have become a beloved part of their journey to Mass every day. "My children beg to hear these every day on our way to Mass! Thank you so much."
In the Classroom
Incorporating The Saints into religious education has also been particularly effective for some educators. Pat says of The Saints, "I faith share with fifth graders, and we talk about The Saints. It is easy access for me to look up a saint, and it is also fascinating what some of our saints have gone through. I am getting educated about history with my students." By integrating these stories into their classrooms, educators are able to provide a more comprehensive and engaging religious education. Listener Rosemarie also appreciates the impact of audio dramas during her family’s commute to school. She notes, "My children and I are enjoying all the episodes during our long rides to school. They are very well done!" Shared listening experiences can even create a foundation that can be used for discussions of new topics that come up during the school day. Children who may not yet understand how to apply virtue in their everyday lives can learn through stories.
In the Home
Patrick Conley, Relevant Radio host, has written about how The Saints can be an amazing resource in the classroom. But it’s not just useful in the traditional classroom. Homeschool mom Beth reflects, "My kids LOVE these. They know so much about these saints due to this program. It has become part of our daily studies. Thank you!" This highlights how audio dramas can become an integral part of daily studies, enriching the educational experience. Melinda shares a similar sentiment, "My children and I have enjoyed listening to every story since the beginning. The talent with the accents in each voice is impressive to me. I appreciate the historical information included too (we are a homeschool family). Thank you for technology being used to inspire holiness!" For homeschool parents, The Saints continues to be an amazing resource for education and fun.
