Meet the Founder and Executive Producer
Peter Atkinson
Founder and Executive Director
Peter Atkinson is a Canadian-American media executive and creative entrepreneur. Born in Canada and raised near Washington, D.C., he earned a Classics degree from Ave Maria University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and receiving the prestigious President’s Award. After graduation, Peter founded successful youth programs, including a study-abroad initiative in Rome and a Shakespearean acting program in Florida. After training in Shakespeare in London and Massachusetts, he pursued an MFA in Acting at Columbia University in New York City. In 2019, he founded The Merry Beggars to create family entertainment grounded in faith and virtue.
