Edith Stein lives the virtues of honesty and courage in her convictions. As she journeys from her upbringing in a Jewish family to her eventual life as Sister Theresa Benedicta of the Cross, Edith remains loyal to the truth. When she begins to hear God’s call in her life, she does not hesitate, living His sacrificial love until the end.
This series contains moments of intensity and raised voices. Several arguments between parents and children are depicted. A character struggles with atheism. There are references to death and the suffering of war. Actions of anti-semitism are depicted.
