Our Lady of Champion
Teach the Children their Catechism
The Wisconsin frontier. October, 1859. A young Belgian woman and her family struggle to stay alive in their harsh New World surroundings. They came to America for space, opportunity, and the promise of a new and prosperous life.
But nature conspires against them, and the people have turned as wild and dangerous as the land they’re trying to settle. This is the story of Adele Brise and Our Lady of Champion.
