Philadelphia’s own St. Katharine Drexel was born into one of the richest families in the country, yet spent her life caring for the poorest of the poor. Her story teaches lessons of gratitude, discernment, and prayer, and she struggles to understand God’s call to her in her particular circumstances. In the face of difficulty, St. Katharine Drexel displayed extraordinary courage and determination in staying close to God’s will for her.
This series contains moments of intensity and fear. Multiple characters die from tuberculosis, and there is reference to their symptoms. The deaths of multiple parents occur and are referenced throughout. Characters are portrayed going through depression in response to their grief.
