Rating Reason

Margaret’s secure life as a princess in England, was thrown into turmoil when her father, the king, dies. Through God’s guidance, however, she was rescued, and became Queen of Scotland. Not only did she live - she used her new position to serve God, the Church, and her people in charity and piety. Her story gives us her heroic example of patience through adversity, trust in God, and Christian service. Through her marriage with King Malcolm of Scotland, Queen Margaret left a lasting legacy of piety and faith that still echoes today.

This series contains moments of intensity and danger. Voices are raised in arguments. King Malcolm, before having his mind changed by Margaret, takes prisoners as slaves from his raids. The death of a parent is represented. Battles and threats of danger are mentioned.
