St. Adelaide’s story shines with the virtues of faith, justice, and charity. Her unwavering trust in God's plan during captivity shows her truly heroic faith and courage. Similarly, her commitment to caring both for the poor of her kingdom and the political needs of her own court shows her to be a charitable and truly exemplary ruler.
This series contains moments of danger and intensity, including raised voices. While she eventually grows closer to him, Adelaide is forced to marry her first husband for political expediency. A character is poisoned and dies in-scene. Adelaide is imprisoned when she refuses to marry the son of her husband’s murderer. Adelaide and Myra escape the castle and are in imminent danger from the soldiers who are chasing them.
