Central Italy, 257 A.D. Under a new Roman governor, the Christians of Terni face arrest and persecution for practicing their faith, and two young newlyweds are arrested for preaching in the streets.
Now, what can their local bishop and friend do to save them from certain death? This is the story of St. Valentine.

Valentine governs the church in Terni in a time of peace, teaching and bringing people closer to God. When persecutions begin, Valentine demonstrates virtues of Courage, Prudence, and Humility. He trusts in God, counseling Chrysanthus and Daria, a young married couple, to do the same.
This series contains moments of intensity, raised voices, and references to violence. A character makes unwanted advances on another character. Christians are jailed for their faith, and their off-screen torture is referenced. Off-screen deaths are referenced. A character dies from wounds received off-screen. Several atheistic characters speak slightingly of the faith.
