Franz’s story tells the true power of every life to spread God’s love to others. Franz offers his own prison meal to a starving inmate, a grace-filled gesture amid cruelty. Fani’s unwavering faith in her husband, even when the world despises him, radiates hope. Even as two people against their entire world, Franz and Fani remain close to God through each other, giving a true example of sacramental marriage.

This series contains moments of danger and intensity, including raised voices. It includes depictions of beatings, imprisonment, and execution by guillotine. Characters undergo interrogation, moral coercion, and physical abuse. Nazi ideology is discussed and condemned.
